Beginning for the 2006 handcart trek season, Muddy Gap LLC, is offering a food depot service for trek groups. The food depot will allow you to buy any of bulk food or serving items you need for your trek directly from us at competitive prices and then pick up your items each day at Muddy Gap junction, located 10 miles from Cherry Creek and Jackson campground.
This will allow you to eliminate the expense and logistic worries of refrigerated trailers and trucks, and insure the quality and safety of your perishable food items.
How it works
Ordering
Contact us by phone or email with the list of items you would like us to provide. Within two weeks we will provide you with an itemized bid.
Due to the nature of food prices, bids more than 90 days before delivery are considered preliminary and subject to revision. A finalized bid will be determined 90 days before the date of first delivery. Any bid given within 90 days of delivery is good for two weeks after which we reserve the right to revise the bid. A 50% down payment on a bid in the 90 days prior to delivery locks in all prices.
All orders must be placed within 2 weeks of date of delivery to guarantee quality of service.

You are responsible for picking up and transporting your order from our facility to the campground. We are located at the Three Forks Trail Center and Cenex Service Station at Muddy Gap Junction 10 miles south of the Martin's Cove Historical Site on Route 220.
For safety and quality reason's all meat will be stored frozen until time of pick up. Please plan your pick up times accordingly.
Payment
We require a 50% down payment by check or credit card to reserve your order. The balance is due at the time of your trek when you pick up your items.
Your purchase can be tax exempt if you use a check or credit card issued directly from a tax exempt organization such as the LDS church. Purchases made with personal credit cards or checks can not be given tax exempt status.
Cancellations
If for some reason you must cancel your order you will be charged 10% of the deposit.
